JefCoEd and Museum sponsor art/writing workshop through Kennedy Center grant

The second of three workshops in the program Changing Education Through the Arts  was held at Birmingham Museum of Art February 7 for 13 different area school systems.  It was funded through a Performing Arts grant from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., won by JefCoEd and the Museum last April. Pictured are those responsible for the workshop, Stacie Jacks, art supervisor for JefCoEd, Sandra Phaup  from Washington, D.Cj.who gave the workshop entitled  "Visual Art:  Developing Thinking and Writing Skills," and community/school liaison for the Museum of Art Suzy Harris.
