Dr. Steve Nowlin, new superintendent of Jefferson County School, reads the book Pete the Cat to students from three kindergarten classes at Gresham Elementary.  He was at the school February 12 to honor principal Frances Finney who is the second employee at her school and the first school principal to win One Class at a Time grant of $1,000 sponsored by CBS WIAT Television station and Buffalo Rock Company.   Usually the grants are awarded to teachers for their classroom enrichment. Thegrant money will purchase a buzzer for the school security system.
