Minor High School received a BIG check worth $10,000 from ExxonMobil at its academic pep rally April 21 honoring its 2000% increase of students taking AP courses and passing the AP tests to garner college credit and save money for their parents.  Pictured from left are Truman Bell of ExxonMobil, Minor High principal David Pike, instructional assistant principal Melissa Scott, Jelani Grace, who participated in the popular AP worldwide advertising campaign and was one of five students featured, and Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Phil Hammonds.
