Four of the seven platform guests/speakers at the January 25th Stellar celebration to honor 30 NBCTs, national board certified teachers, at the Alabama Theatre were:  Sally Price, emcee, Dr. Betsy Rogers, Samford University professor and Take One Initiative collaborator, and Dr. Julie Hannah, the state department of education's director of student achievement.  The occasion was to honor 30 local teachers from eight different school systems who had achieved the honor of earning NBCT status.
