School based leaders are involved in a professional study in order to understand the alignment between Accelerate JefCoEd and district initiatives in order to develop a clear focus and plan for personalizing learning and improving student achievement.

• What the Program Offers

Quarterly professional learning sessions are held throughout the school year facilitated by consultants from the Southern Regional Education Board.  School leaders are involved in face-to-face seminars, required to read best practices literature in school leadership, and are expected to blog current practices in their schools related to select topics.

• How to Become Involved

All school based leaders are required to participate in professional studies designed specifically for Principals and Assistant Principals.

District PLC

District leaders are involved in a professional study in order to understand and align district leadership support in order to meet the goal of providing all students with personalized learning environments that support and sustain students’ success.

• What the Program Offers

Five monthly professional learning sessions are held throughout the school year facilitated by consultants from the Southern Regional Education Board.  District leaders are involved in face-to-face seminars, required to read best practices literature in school and district leadership, and are encouraged to meet often with departments to plan and problem solve.

• How to Become Involved

ALL Directors at the Central Office Building are required to participate in this professional study.
