Experience Verification Requests
The Jefferson County Human Resources Department will be happy to assist with providing verification of experience for graduate admissions, certificate renewals, work experience, add-on certifications, etc.
To have experience sent out, you must utilize the form below.
Sick Leave Transfer Request
The Jefferson County Human Resources Department will be happy to assist you with the transfer of any available sick days to another district within the state.

Please allow at least 10-14 days during the school year for your new school district to receive the information. Requests received after the school year ends (during the summer months) will require additional processing time due to the volume of requests we receive.
Loan Forgiveness Requests
We are aware that the Federal Government is now allowing certain loan forgiveness documents to be sent to us electronically. To assist in alleviating some of the delay in processing time, we are providing you with our EIN. Please use the following EIN when requesting your PSLF to be completed electronically: 636000945. Additionally, all electronic requests for loan forgiveness should be sent to humanresources@jefcoed.com for processing. When we receive a request with an incorrect EIN, we do not have the option of correcting it. This delays the time in which your documents are processed.
If you worked for Jefferson County Schools and have had a break in service (Example: 2004-2005 Teacher at Jefferson County Schools, 2005-2008 Teacher at Shelby County Schools, 2008-current Teacher at Jefferson County Schools), we believe you will need to submit more than one request. The current system will not allow us to indicate the two separate employment histories on the same form.
