📣 Outdoor classroom upgrade! 🐓🌱🐝 - Thanks to a generous grant from Cawaco RC&D, Grantswood Community School's outdoor learning spaces have received a makeover. They've added new chicken coops, nesting boxes, chicken wire, a tarp, and fresh bee supplies. Plus, in March, they'll welcome new bees and a new hive! Kindergartners at the school LOVE learning outside and do a fantastic job caring for the chickens and bees. We can't wait to see them enjoy the newly renovated space! #OutdoorLearning #GrantswoodCommunity #HandsOnLearning #Kindergarten

Hueytown High School Career Tech students pampered Board of Education employees with an unforgettable Day of Relaxation before the holiday rush! 💆🏻‍♀️🧖🏻‍♀️✨🌿 Cosmetology students showcased their skills by offering manicures💅, as well as hand, foot, and neck massages. Meanwhile, culinary arts students catered for the event, providing delicious treats and beverages to enjoy during our services.👩🏽‍🍳🍴 Thank you to these fantastic students and their instructors for bringing relaxation and joy to the Jefferson County Board of Education.
