Pleasant Grove High School's band, color guard, and cheerleaders came to Brighton School on a mission to motivate our students to exhibit good behavior.
Good citizenship is the goal here at Brighton School. Scholars have a daily reminder called the B.E.A.R Code. Our BEAR Code is:
B-Be safe.
E-Engage in respectful behavior.
A-Act responsibly.
R-Represent greatness.
Pleasant Grove High partnered with Brighton School to hold a pep rally to get students amped up about positive behavior and the rewards that come along with it. The band played a few lively selections that had the students dancing and singing along. Pleasant Grove's band director gave words of encourage and motivation. The cheerleaders had the crowd hype by doing various flips, yelling out interactive cheers, and performing a pyramid and high toss. Pleasant Grove's hype men had the student body rocking as they stood in close proximity to the students and told them to stand and dance. It was a great way to get students ready to be great citizens for the school year!
