Mrs. Bobbie Clum Jimenez has been a pillar here at Brighton School for many years. She has served in many capacities, helping in any way she could. She has served as an ESL aide and PreK aide in recent years. Mrs. Bobbie is also a beacon in the Latino communities that surround Brighton School. Often times, she’s a liaison, advocate, and mentor to Spanish speaking families. Mrs. Bobbie is a mother, a wife, a teacher, a friend, and so much more...all while having a very personal battle of her own. A battle she is winning day by day through her faith and determination.

Mrs. Bobbie is a quiet and gentle person that adds laughter and spunk to our campus. It is hard to tell that she is a breast cancer survivor and warrior. She exhumes beauty and strength daily as she encourages her students and helps her cooperating teacher, Mrs. Thomas. She often wears her breast cancer awareness attire, not only in October, but sporadically throughout the year. Yesterday, she added a SURVIVOR crown to her outfit. The crown was adorned with pink gems that symbolizes the strength it takes to be a survivor day to day. It gives us hope for a cure and faith that breast cancer statistics will improve through early detection and treatment.

Thank you, Mrs. Bobbie, for showing us how to be strong, courageous, and determined! We salute you and we fight with you! two teachers and a student smilingthree teachers, two kissing the cheeks of the teacher in the middle
