students sitting at their desks

Hands-on literacy center tasks with manipulatives motivate students because they are fun & keep kids engaged. They can provide purposeful practice of important foundational skills & help students grasp abstract concepts by linking them to concrete experiences. Today, while in Ms. Bair's class during her literacy block, I got to witness this firsthand! Great job!
